Kucinich comes to the conclusion that House Resolution 3962 would not eliminate for-profit insurance but actually accelerate the privatization of health care, “In H.R. 3962, the government is requiring at least 21 million Americans to buy private health insurance from the very industry that causes costs to be so high, which will result in at least $70 billion in new annual revenue, much of which is coming from taxpayers. This inevitably will lead to even more costs, more subsidies, and higher profits for insurance companies - a bailout under a blue cross.”
Washington’s latest efforts at rebuilding America’s health care system will actually redistribute wealth to Wall Street, says Kucinich, at the expense of the country’s manufacturing and service economies. Kucinich explains that this move by the government will make America less competitive in the “real economy” such as steel, automotive, aerospace and shipping.
“Notwithstanding the fate of H.R. 3962, America will someday come to recognize the broad social and economic benefits of a not-for-profit, single-payer health care system, which is good for the American people and good for America's businesses, with of course the notable exceptions being insurance and pharmaceuticals." |

then we had the birthday party for our friend. the cake i baked tastes great though the texture could be better.
i long to find my InneR SPACE again and indulge in my Self Expression more fully in a "contained way" through photos and painting. |

The journey starts with well known Russian project Timoon, two tracks made by Izzumm – Russian electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist who has moved to India and spend a lot of time there learning local musical traditions and playing different instruments. Influences of Indian music enlarged his potential of artist, sound engineer and dj which he gained in motherland.
This compilation is also a quite rare chance to listen to chill and downbeat experiments made by famous psy-trance producers Transdriver, Furious and Ocelot. Other side of their talents unfolds in three fresh and previously unrealized tracks.
Well-known South-African chill-out musician Pearce van der Merwe from Flooting Grooves dazzles with enigmatic flute sounds and warm melodies in “Start again” tune.
Vertigo Records is trying to search and release music that can be described as “danceable chill-out”. Tracks, that has some beat and makes you even dance. Переехали наконец в квартиру (фото будет будет) и встал вопрос подключения Интернета. Как выяснилось, с этим в Германии очень плохо (во всяком случае, по сравнению с Нерезиновскштадтом)
Во-первых, никаких локальных сеток, из которых можно на скорости в сто мегабит скачать пару свежих фильмов в DVD-качестве - здесь царит копирастия в терминальной стадии.
Далее, 99.9% доступного интернета - это ADSL, то есть скорость аплоада чрезвычайно мала. Да и выбор тарифов невелик - у большей части провайдеров (несмотря на их многобразие), все сводится к 16\1 и 50\10 (соответственно download и upload в мегабитах). Последний вроде бы неплох, но, когда видишь цену в 40-50 евро в месяц, внутренняя жаба начинает тянуть свои скользкие лапки к шее.
Да, о ценах. Они начинаются от 20-25 евро (если не считать тарифы типа двух мегабит в секунду), причем в договоре вполне может быть прописано повышение цены через полгода еще на 5-10 безусловных европейских единиц. С другой стороны, в цену, как правило, входит домашний телефон, безлимитный на все городские номера Рейха, так что все не так плохо.
Ну и еще не забываем про патентованную мудовейшую немецкую систему "фертрагов". Хорошие, годные тарифы на Интернет (как впрочем и на все остальное - телефон, мобильный, телевизор, фитнес-клуб и т.д.) доступны только при заключении договора на два года (реже на один). Причем никого не будет волновать, пользуешься ты им или нет - деньги в начале каждого месяца будут тупо списываться с банковского счета.
Есть и плюсы - например, провайдер изначально считает, что пользователь не знаком с абревиатурами DNS и VPN, поэтому, чтобы интернет работал, достаточно просто воткнуть провод в комп или роутер, без всяких настроек соединений и прописываний маршрутов, которым часто грешат провайдеры в России.
Но в целом ситуация удручает.. |

поставил новую прогу для рисования, SAI Paint Tool (вот тут почитать), очень лёгкая, удобная, с кучей приятных функций, за которыми не надо лазить по меню, ну и вообще крутая. вот тестовый персонаж. |

We happened across a Coyote on the side of the road the other day on our way back from Point Reyes.
It seemed pretty disoriented. It was there on the way out to the light house and on the way back. It hadn't moved much.
I asked Matt to turn around so we could go back for a better photo. When we got there some jackass in an Audi was following it down the road.
His headlights did illuminate it fairly well, though... |
